Exploratory Tracks

Begin taking classes online while working with an academic advisor to choose the right major for you.

K-State offers a wide variety of online degree programs, but choosing which is right for you can be a challenge. Don't let indecision keep you from achieving your degree. All majors require you to take foundational courses, which you can get started on right away with the exploratory track.

While you complete your general education requirements, you'll work with a dedicated academic advisor who will:

• provide academic counseling and assistance in choosing a major
• assess your interests and skills and how they align with different degree paths
• connect you to services and information that can help in your decision making

You can choose to remain in the exploratory track until your general education requirements are completed, or you can transfer out at any time prior. This track is designed to help you make meaningful progress as you work on your career plans.
