The bachelor’s degree in nutrition and health will prepare you for a variety of careers, including:

working as a nutritionist
developing community programs to promote nutrition and good health
educating people about the relationship between diet and health
conducting research on the psychological, cultural, social, economic and environmental issues related to nutrition and health
working with special groups who are at risk for nutrition-related health problems, such as pregnant women, infants and the elderly

Transfer Equivalency

Concurrent Degree Options

The bachelor’s in nutrition and health can be completed as part of a concurrent program with the master’s in dietetics, nutrition and sensory sciences or the master's in public health. This option allows you to apply 9 credits of graduate work in the master's to the bachelor's. Students with a prior bachelor's degree are not eligible for the concurrent option.
