The social transformation studies bachelor’s degree program will help you develop problem-solving skills to create new solutions to both emerging and enduring social problems; acquire the ability to work with and serve multi-faceted and underserved communities; and gain expertise in critical thinking, writing and communication.

Within the social transformation studies major, it is possible to complete either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. In addition to general education and major requirements, a BA degree has additional foreign language and humanities requirements while the BS degree requires additional natural and quantitative courses.
