Tuition and Fees
New Tuition and Fees Structure for 2021-22 Academic Year
To better assist students with understanding the cost of attendance, K-State has simplified the tuition and fees structure for students enrolled in online programs.
Students taking online programs through Kansas State University Global Campus will pay the same online tuition rate regardless of where they live.
Some graduate programs have different tuition and fee structures than what is outlined in the tuition and fee schedule below. A list of these programs can be found below the tuition and fee schedule.
Total Cost of an Online Course
You can find the current cost of a course, including all fees, by using the Class Search. The cost shown in the description of each course is the total cost for the course.
Students enrolled in on-campus programs pay their normal tuition and fee rates for their campus even when taking individual courses online.
Some courses may require you to take proctored exams and most proctor services require students to pay a fee. If your course includes exams that require a proctor, you will be contacted by K-State Online prior to the start of the semester. Learn more about proctored exams and choosing a proctor.
Tuition is set by the Kansas Board of Regents annually in late June or early July. Kansas State University reserves the right to change costs without prior notice upon approval by the Kansas Board of Regents.
