Bachelor's in Dietetics - Online Program
Dietetics Bachelor’s Degree
In the dietetics bachelor’s program, you will learn how to translate the science of nutrition into practical ways to enhance the health of others.
Prepare to become a registered dietitian (RD) with the online dietetics bachelor’s degree. RDs are the only health professionals trained specifically in foods and nutrition. This program combines an interest in food and nutrition with meeting needs of others in wellness, illness and all other stages of the lifecycle.
The dietetics bachelor’s degree is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and leads to eligibility to apply to supervised practice, which results in eligibility for the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentialing exam to become a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN).
In 2024, the degree requirement for eligibility to take the national Registration Examination for Dietitians will be elevated to a graduate degree. Graduates of the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) will be able to apply to supervised practice programs that include a graduate degree to meet the elevated requirement.
