Grain Processing Undergraduate Certificate

Advance your career in the grain milling and processing industry with an undergraduate certificate in grain processing. This 15-credit-hour program includes 14 credit hours of fully online coursework and one credit hour of hands-on learning through a one-week in-person course. Designed to provide technical education in the science and practice of milling, this certificate will equip you with practical knowledge in grain properties, milling equipment and operations, process control, food safety, and product quality.

FFM 121 – Ingredient Identification and Quality: Oil Seeds and Legumes (1 credit)
FFM 150 – Preparing Grains (1 credit)
FFM 151 – Milling Process (1 credit)
FFM 152 – Milling Specialty Grains (1 credit)
FFM 159 – Intro to Milling Practicum (1 credit)
FFM 210 – Food and Feed Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance (1 credit)
