This specialization is intended for elementary teachers who teach a variety of subjects and middle-level teachers who teach in more than one subject field. Core and elective courses for the specialization are intended to focus on curricular issues of the subjects that elementary/middle-level teachers teach (e.g., math, science, social studies, language arts, reading).
