How to Apply

Prepare to meet your academic and career goals with a highly ranked university that has been providing distance education for more than 50 years. Choose the student type most applicable to you to begin your K-State journey.

Freshmen Students

I have not attended college at all or have fewer than 24 completed college credit hours.

Graduate Students

I have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Transfer Students

I have already attended one or more colleges or universities and have completed 24 or more college credit hours.

Returning Students

I was previously enrolled as an undergraduate K-State student and am returning after taking at least one fall or spring semester off.

Nondegree Students

I want to take an online class without being formally admitted to a program.

Military Students

I am active duty, National Guard or Reserve, a veteran, or a spouse/dependent of a military member.

International Students

I am not currently a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
