Two curriculum options

If you want to specialize in breeding, feeding, care and welfare of animals, the management and industry option is an excellent choice. Animal production, nutrition and management classes are combined with courses in your areas of interest to create a specialization that’s tailor-made for you.

Do you plan to seek an advanced degree, apply to a College of Veterinary Medicine, or pursue a career in research? The science/pre-veterinary option emphasizes courses in chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology and microbiology to prepare you for further studies in animal science.
