Intersession
Intersession is a time between university terms when students can concentrate on one class in a shorter, accelerated period of time. Courses are offered on campus, off campus through field trips and study abroad opportunities, and online.
Intersession courses are offered each January, May and August, with classes ranging from approximately one to three weeks. January intersession typically runs from late December to mid-January and is part of spring semester, May intersession typically runs from mid-May to early June and is part of summer semester, and August intersession typically runs from late July to mid-August and is also part of summer semester.
