How do I access my online course?
K-State’s online courses are delivered through Canvas. You will use your K-State eID and password to access Canvas.

How do I withdraw or drop courses?
You can adjust your schedule in the KSIS student center. There are specific deadlines and refund dates associated with dropping courses that are important to know. Dropping courses could also affect your financial aid eligibility, so make sure to check with your financial aid advisor first.

Are scholarships available for distance students?
Yes! We offer scholarships specifically for distance students. You may qualify even if you are enrolled in only one or two courses.

Can I attend a commencement ceremony if I am a distance student?
We invite all graduates to take part in the commencement ceremony in Manhattan, Kansas. If you are unable to attend in person, Virtual Commencement offers an online alterative where you can watch a live stream of the graduation ceremony and see notes of congratulation from family, friends and the K-State community.

My class requires that I use a proctor for exams. How do I find a proctor?
Many courses will require you to find a proctor. The Testing Center can assist you in finding a proctor and ensuring the proctor is approved.
