Areas of Study

Choose from four areas of study:

  • Bulk Solids Handling: Explore all aspects of safely and efficiently handling bulk solids with courses designed around improving manufacturing practices and storing and conveying.

  • International Culture Immersion: Integrate technical coursework with brief immersion in one or more appropriate international venues, including logistics, rural economic development, international project management, and marketing Italy: culture and tourism.

  • Unmanned Aircraft Systems Information Assurance: Learn how to protect UAS from cyberattacks through risk assessment principles regarding drone operations on land, sea, air or satellite platforms.

  • Student-Directed Focus: Select from the below electives, combine electives from other focus areas or transfer up to nine graduate credit hours from another K-State department or institution to build your own focus area.
