Software
The university offers free software downloads, including Microsoft Office, and information about software purchases for K-State students. View software requirements.

Most courses require use of technology and media. Course delivery may include the use of streaming video, listservs, teleconferences, message boards and more. Read&Write is a comprehensive productivity tool designed to support reading, writing, studying and research. Highlighted features include text to speech, vocabulary list builder, speech maker, highlighter tool and scan.
