Undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security at Wichita State University

Why I chose teaching: I chose to go into teaching because I am passionate about instilling a love for learning in children.

Why I selected K-State’s MAT program: K-State's MAT program allowed me to continue my life in my location, the program is very affordable, and it allowed me to get my master's degree in one year. KSU is a great school, and I am so proud to be an alumnus.

Why I’m a unique teacher: I have an undergraduate degree in Homeland Security, so I have a unique outlook on the content that we are teaching in Social Studies.

“All of my Gradcats and advisors have been so amazing and helpful throughout this entire process. I went into this experience not knowing what to expect, and now I am recommending this program to any prospective teacher!”
